President
Larry Roberts called the meeting to order at 11:00 a.m. at the AFL-CIO
building. There was a quorum
present. There was a roll call of the
officers by Secretary Jacque Brock.

motion was made by President Larry Roberts and seconded by Exec. V.P. Linda Daniels to table the Executive Board
minutes from June. Motion (passed).
These
items were discussed:
1. There was a discussion of a
trial board hearing per Article 15 for the allegations of the misuse of APWU
credit card. Pres. Larry Roberts appointed the following to the committee, John
Mercado, Trish Holmes, Lanelle Chernosky,
John Castillo, Robert Olvera, Cheryl Sweeney. Pres. Larry Roberts, Exect.
VP Linda Daniels, Treasurer Dan Hillis and Secretary
Jacque Brock would also be present.
2. A motion was made and
seconded to pay committee for the Trial Board hearing up to 8 hours of LWOP.
3. A motion was made and
seconded to send 9 people to the All Craft Conference to be held in
4. A motion was made and
seconded to sponsor two teams at $50. a team for the NALC Spike for a Cure
volleyball tournament August 27.
5. There was a discussion on
opening local negotiations.
