President
Roberts called the meeting to order at 12:21pm at the AFL-CIO building. There
was a quorum. A tape recorder was not used.
Brother George Roman led the Pledge of Allegiance. There was a roll call
of the officers.

moment of silence was observed for Secretary Patricia Mercado.

President Roberts presented Sister Marilyn Brantley a bible in memory of her
mother who passed away recently.

The October Financial Report was distributed to the membership. Brother Robert Olvera made a motion to accept the Financial
Report and Brother Al Garcia seconded that motion. Motion passed.
4.
Treasurer Dan Hillis spoke on the building at 12012 N IH 35 that the local
would like to purchase. Brother George
Roman made a motion and Brother Ben Solis seconded it to expend the building
fund to purchase the building pending an inspection. 29 for, 6 against.
Motion passed.
5. A second reading of a
Constitutional Amendment changing the Full-time President language and officers’
pay was read the reflect the following:
The
pay and LWOP would change as follows:
President
- $800.00 per month salary and 120 days of LWOP
Vice-President
- $600.00 per month salary and 56 days of LWOP
Treasurer
- $600.00 per month salary and 31 days of LWOP
Secretary
- $300.00 per month salary and 8 hours per month LWOP
Editor
- $300.00 per month salary and 24 hours per month LWOP
