President
Roberts called the meeting to order at 11:02am at the AFL-CIO building. There was a roll call of the officers by the
secretary.
A
speaker from American Income Life, Sara Thrailkille spoke to the E-Board.
A
motion was made to accept the E-Board minutes from Sept. Motion passed.

Business:

It was announced that Sister Claudia Richardson lost the National Election as
NBA by 120 votes.
2.
It was also announced that the Local’s picnic was a success.

A motion was made to give out 25 turkeys at the November General Meeting and 20
turkeys, 15 hams, & 1 hen at the December General Meeting. Motion passed.
2.
Sister Linda Daniel made a motion to spend up to $7000.00 on the Local’s
Christmas party on Dec. 16, 2007. Motion
passed.
3.
President Roberts brought the following names to the E-Board to certify as Stewards:

approved by the E-Board.
4.
It was announced that the Austin Local will be hosting an Educational
Conference on June 18, 2008 for Thur., Fri., & Sat. at the Sheraton Hotel
