E-BD Minutes

October 15, 2005

President Roberts called meeting to order at 11:18am at the AFL-CIO building.  The secretary made roll call of the officers.  All officers were present.

The September E-BD minutes were passed out to the officers.  A motion was made by Brother Dan Hillis and second to accept the minutes.  Motion pass.

New Business:

1. Brother Ben Solis made a motion and second to have 20 turkeys give away at the November meeting and 15 hams, 15 turkeys, and 1 chicken give away at the December meeting.  Motion pass.

2. President Roberts brought forward Sister Linda Daniels and Brother Monte Lane as stewards for the Austin Area Local.  The E-BD accepted and approved.

3. A motion by Brother Ben Solis and second to send up to 6 people to the TPWU multi-craft seminar in Fort Worth, Texas on November 11-13, 2005 at $650.00 a piece at the President’s discretion.  Motion pass. 

Old Business:

1. Brothers Roy Vasquez, Joe Aaron, Eugene Corcino and Sisters Joni Yule, Cathy Robbins, Barbara Abercrombie all volunteer to be on the Christmas and Installation Committee.

Meeting adjourned at 11:51am.
