E-BD Minutes

June 17, 2006

President Roberts called meeting to order at 11:10am at the AFL-CIO building.  The secretary made roll call of the officers.

Excused absent:  Calvin Smith, Barbara Abercrombie, Linda Daniel, and Cecil Reed

Unexcused absent:  Monte Lane

The May E-BD minutes were passed out to the officers.  A motion was made by Brother Roy Vasquez and second to make Sister Cathy Robbins’ May absent an excused absent.  Motion pass.  A motion was made by Brother George Roman and second to accept the E-BD minutes.  Motion pass.

Unfinished Business:

1. Brothers Roy Vasquez and Leonard Lara made the trustees report.  The E-BD voted to accept the report.

New Business:

1. A motion was made by Brother Ben Solis and second to spend $100.00 for a gift basket for the COPA silent auction at the TPWU Educational Conference.  Motion pass.

President Roberts discuss about having training, OWCP, retirement, the changes in personnel at the plant, and the stations.

Meeting adjourned at 12:03pm.
