E-BOARD MEETING

E-BD Minutes

May 27, 2006

President Roberts called meeting to order at 11:05am at the AFL-CIO building.  The secretary made roll call of the officers.

Excused absent:  Ben Solis, Willie Sugg, Linda Daniel, Cecil Reed, and Leonard Lara

Unexcused absent:  Cathy Robbins and Monte Lane

The April minutes were passed out to the officers.  A motion was made by Brother Calvin Smith and second to accept the minutes.  Motion pass.

New Business:

1. A motion was made by Brother Calvin Smith and second to donate $700.00 to the Texas Mustang, a group of underprivileged children.  Motion pass.

2. The E-BD gave the trustees the authority to trash items that are too old or/and not any good.

The officers talked about grievance settlements, steward training, an information picketing, VMF have a 4-day workweek, and the security gate.

Meeting adjourned at 12 noon.
